Mars Express Orbit/Attitude IDFS Hierarchy

The spacecraft ephemeris data is necessary for analyzing science data, so this data will also be processed into IDFS data sets. The IDFS hierarchy for the spacecraft ephemeris data is slightly different than that for the ASPERA-3 Experiment. The Mission and Satellite are the same (Mars and Mars_Express, respectively), but the Experiment and the Instrument are called MEOA (Mars Express Orbit/Attitude). The MEOA Instrument is further divided into two (2) Virtual Instruments:
  1. 67 Values (Galactic Reference Frame during Cruise and Operational Prior to Mars): 32 bits per sample, 0.5 samples per sec (MEOA_GRF, for Mars Express Orbit/Attitude Galactic Reference Frame)
  2. 67 Values (Spacecraft Reference Frame during Orbital Phase): 32 bits per sample, 0.5 samples per sec (MEOA_SRF, for Mars Express Orbit/Attitude Spacecraft Reference Frame)
So, the IDFS hierarchy for the spacecraft ephemeris data can be shown as:

--> Mars
-------> Mars_Express
------------> MEOA
-----------------> MEOA
----------------------> MEOA_GRF
----------------------> MEOA_SRF
